Let me introduce myself.

I'm a BEng Mechanical Engineering Year 1 student, and I'm interested in sneaker collection, music and sport cars.

Why did you decide to join HW Raacing Team?

I decided to join the team because I want to learn more about cars. This competition involves a lot of people in the industry as well as the university students across the world. Besides, it involves our own passion and knowledge to design and build the car and I can meet a lot of industry professionals.

What have you learned so far in terms of technical knowledge and/or personal growth?

I have learned about how to work as a team. It is like a company that involves a lot of different department and I need to deal with them in the departments. Communication plays a very important role in this situation because it involves a lot of students and lecturers in this team. Besides, I have learned the skills how to meet and talk with the industry professionals and draw their attention about our current design and development.

Constructing this car is not about just considering your own part, but we must take into consideration of the whole car because a small simple design will affect other's working part.

So it is crucial to discuss and negotiate with other teams, find the best solution to overcome the problems.

Any encouragement you would like to give to newcomers or to anyone in public?

Be alert to everything around you, it might be very important to you one day in the future. Be brave step up to try new things, it might be a huge success for you.
