Let me introduce myself.

I'm a Year 1 Mechanical engineering student, and I really like cars in general as I find them amazing!

Why did you decide to join HW Raacing Team?

I figured that if I joined the team, I would be able to take part in building a working prototype, which can also give me a better understanding on the process of car production. Other than that, this project could also improve my technical skills.

What have you learned so far in terms of technical knowledge and/or personal growth?

From what I've picked up so far, I've learnt that building a car, or even modifying our current car, is no walk in the park. Because our car is unique, some of the parts were required to be hand made, because of this, the measurements had to be precise in order to produce the suitable components.

Another thing is that this project taught me was that, working together as a team, makes work easier and faster, and it's okay to seek help from your team members when you've hit a brick wall.

Any encouragement you would like to give to newcomers or to anyone in public?

Building a car is no easy business. It takes alot of time and dedication if you want to get things right. You will encounter problems, but you'll find a way to solve it. If you hit a brick wall, you smash through it!
