Let me introduce myself.
I'm a Year 1 Mechanical Engineering student. Some sports I'm interested in are motorsports, football, tennis, and wrestling. I collect toys (mostly die-cast model cars), Batman and I like playing guitar too.
Why did you decide to join HW Raacing Team?
I believe I will gain knowledge and experience on how a racing team works.
What have you learned so far in terms of technical knowledge and/or personal growth?
I've learned the basic principle on how to build an energy efficient car. It is not just about the efficiency and power output by the power unit of the car that matters. Some other factors that matters are weight of the car and driver and materials used for the car and its parts.
As a part of the steering department, I have learned to design and manufacture a simple steering system which will help in adding less weight to the car.
Any encouragement you would like to give to newcomers or to anyone in public?
Anyone from any disciplines are welcomed. Even if you don't have any technical knowledge to build the car, you are welcomed to join us and we can teach you.
